Of the 93 counties in Nebraska, Hall County had the most land and rural real estate for sale. There were 5,439 acres of sold land in Nebraska recorded in January 2019 through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects an eight percent change in sales activity over the previous month, with a combined land value of $13 million for all property and land sold in the state. The most land sales in the state last month were recorded in Lincoln and Webster County. Of the nearly 800,000 acres of public lands in Nebraska, approximately 2 percent is open to hunting. Most hunting in the state takes place on private lands.
