The most expensive property listed for sale on Lands of America recently was $14 million, while the median price for land, ranches and farms in Nebraska was $732,835. The average price of land advertised for sale in Nebraska was $922,251. Lands of America research shows that over half the land in the Cornhusker State is privately owned. Of the nearly 800,000 acres of public lands in Nebraska, approximately two percent is open to hunting. Most hunting in the state takes place on private lands.
